Jake the missing snake

A four-feet long Californian King Snake went missing on Saturday night from his owner's home in Minster.

Sarah Mitchell, 21, of Minster Road, assures that the snake, called Jake, is non-venomous but she is desperate to get her pet back.

Her inquisitive son Kye, two, managed to push the lid of his home (called a vivarium)ajar and it was not until 9.30pm that she realised he was missing.

Ring Miss Mitchell on 079200 25998 if you spot him.

See this week's Sheerness Times Guardian for the full story.
