"Let's hope we see many more Gills shirts on the streets of Medway"

GILLINGHAM Football Club are giving away over 22,000 sticker albums to school children across Medway.

Over the next three weeks, the club will distribute the new sticker book, entitled How My Club Works, to under-11s in a bid to boost the club's image to the younger generation of football fans.

The new book was launched on Saturday at Gillingham's home game against Walsall with the stickers printed in each home matchday programme.

Stickers will also be available from the club shop and on the Gillingham website. Those who complete their album will receive a free replica shirt and a signed photograph of their favourite player.

Gills chairman Paul Scally said: "We believe it will be a huge success. Let's hope we get thousands completed and we will see many more Gills shirts on the streets of Medway."
