Students travel in style!

A stretch limo was the mode of transport for these school leavers.

Students in Broadstairs celebrated their last day at school by arriving in a range of unusual transport from space hoppers to limousines.

Dressed in their smartest outfits, the 16-year-olds turned heads for their last official day together after five years at The Charles Dickens School.

Later in the morning they enjoyed music and singing in the main hall before tucking into a buffet provided by the school.

They also had the chance to say goodbye to each other and the teachers before departing on their GCSE study leave.

Head teacher Andrew Olsson said: “Each year the students amaze the staff with their choice of transport and it has become one of the fun events of the school calendar.

“The boys and girls also pull out all the stops to look great in their outfits. It was quite a spectacle and is a lovely way for the students to remember their last day at school before their exams.”
