KENT swimmer Cliff Golding and Laura Lopez-Bonilla, from Spain, have completed the first-ever relay swim from Jersey to France.

They acheived it on Tuesday in nine hours 23 minutes.

Cliff, who belongs to the Black Lion team at Gillingham, and Laura are both Channel swimmers and spend much of their time at weekends on Dover beach encouraging others who are training for Channel swim attempts.
