Teen dies after motorbike crash

A TEENAGER who suffered massive head injuries in a horrific motorcycle crash has died.

Ricardo Walkling, 18, of Simpson Road, Snodland, died at Kings College Hospital, London, yesterday. Doctors tried to revive him for several hours.

Mr Walkling and another 18-year-old man from Snodland were injured when the small, blue Honda bike they were riding crashed on the A228 Snodland bypass.

The crash happened in the early hours of last Friday, near the junction of Holborough Road. The two teenagers had just joined the dual carriageway.

The other rider suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Maidstone and Malling police are appealing for anyone who saw the two teenagers riding the motorcycle in Holborough Road or High Street, Snodland, to contact PC Tony Howland on 01622 608061.

An inquest is due to be held.
