A BOY was punched and robbed of £20 while out carol singing in the Newington area of Ramsgate.

The 13-year-old was left shocked and dazed by the attack that happened at 10pm last night.

Police say he was walking between houses when he was approached by a young man who asked him how much money he had collected.

The victim showed his attacker who punched him and grabbed the money.

An 18-year-old man is helping Thanet police with their inquiries.
