SAVANNAH COLE: has now gone to Germany to stay with a relative
NICK SHARP: his mother is relieved

TWO teenagers have been reunited with their families after disappearing for a week.

Nick Sharp, of Alamein Gardens, Stone, near Dartford, and Savannah Cole, formerly of Jubilee Close, Gravesend, ran away after failing to turn up for school.

The pair, both aged 15 and pupils at Axton Chase Schhol at Longfield, were eventually found in Stone Recreation Ground.

Nick’s mother, Jo Sharp, 36, said: “One of the people I work with at the YMCA was walking with his children when he saw them just sitting on a bench. We are just so relieved.”

Savannah’s mother, Tracy Bain, 33, of Church Mews, Rainham, said the couple were now having a cooling-off period after their experience.

She said: “I think the reason Savannah ran away was because she was being bullied. She is happy and has come back to live in Rainham. We have let her go to Germany for a while to visit my sister.”
