Teenager cut free from crash wreckage

The crash happened at around 8am Monday.

A young motorist had to be cut free from her car after being involved in a rush hour accident.

A Ford Ka and a VW Polo collided at the junction between Hollywood Lane and Holly Road in Wainscott at about 8am Monday.

The 18-year-old female driver of the Ford had suspected spinal injuries so she was freed from the car by firefighters and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital on a spinal board.

The road was closed to allow the emerengecy crews to deal with the incident.

The male driver of the other car was unhurt.
