An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital following a stabbing that occurred at a car park.

Detectives say the incident happened at around 11pm on Thursday (May 4) in Albion Road, Broadstairs. The victim suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police say the assault appears to have resulted from a verbal dispute that happened in the nearby Dolphin public house and continued outside.

No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident.

Anyone who can assist police with their investigation is asked to contact Det Sgt Richard Vickery, on 01622 690 690 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
