Teenagers demanded money from shopper

POLICE are hunting for two teengers who demanded money from a shopper during a failed robbery at Warden, Sheppey. A 48-year-old woman, who lives in Warden, was walking along Cliff View Gardens to some shops when she was stopped by two white males who asked for money.

The woman told the offenders that she did not have any money and they ran off. Both offenders are described as white, aged between 15 and 18 and both were wearing dark hooded tops with the hoods worn up.

One was about 5ft 4ins with a slim build and spoke in an aggressive, gruff voice. The incident happened on Sunday, December 2, between 6.30 and 6.49pm, although police have only just released the details.
