FOUR vehicles were involved in a collision on the A228 at Colts Hill near Tunbridge Wells today.

Police say a black BMW, a blue Ford Escort, a white Ford Escort van and a Cleanaway refuse vehicle were involved in the pile-up.

The three male drivers of the cars were taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital, Tunbridge Wells. One suffered head and abdominal injuries, one head and leg injuries, and the third neck and shoulder injuries. All three were described as "stable" by a hospital spokesman.
