A 25-year-old man from Broadstairs was beaten to the ground in Marine Gardens, Margate, early on Saturday. The victim was taken to the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate, for treatment to cuts and bruises.

Two 23-year-old men from Margate and an 18-year-old man from Cliftonville have been interviewed in connection with the assault.
