Thugs 'ripped boy's ear off' in Deal

Schoolboy thugs beat a boy out walking with his girlfriend so badly he needed his ear glued back on, police revealed today.

The shocking incident happened in Davis Avenue, Deal, on Saturday night.

Officers said the 14-year-old and his girlfriend were approached by three other boys between 11.35pm and 11.45pm.

The thugs then launched an attack which also left the victim with a broken wrist, cuts and bruises

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail.

Police investigating the attack said there were a number of people around at the time they would like to speak to.
