How to prevent your dog from feeling abandoned as you return to work after Covid-19 lockdown

Pampered pooches and mollycoddled cats have never had so much attention from their owners since lockdown forced them to stay at home.

But now the time has come for people to begin their transition back into the workplace, the pressure on pet owners to act responsibly is paramount.

Concerned about households getting it wrong, charities in Kent want to help animals adjust to their owners suddenly being absent for hours at a time, again, as well as accept the return of visitors into 'their' space.

Speaking to KMTV, Tamsin Durston from Dogs Trust shared some tips on how to prevent abandonment issues.
