The mercury is set to tip 26 degrees in Kent this afternoon, but enjoy it while you can because the Met Office says it's not set to last.

Cooler temperatures are set to move across the country with Monday expected to be 'generally breezy and much cooler, with sunny spells and scattered showers'.

But let's forget that for now and enjoy the glorious Spring sunshine which is more akin to mid-Summer.

You could always copy Eleanor Paydon and Alexis Taylor and enjoy an icecream!

And for those who are not so happy with the heat, here are some handy tips to help you stay cool in the sunshine.

1. Wear lose fitting clothes

3. Cotton clothing will keep you cooler

4. Store foot lotions in the fridge and slather on when needed

5. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated

6. Place sheets in a bag and put inside a fridge or freezer for a few minutes before putting them on your bed at night
