Tom Robertson leads the way in Stelling Minnis 10k

The Stelling Minnis 10k was up against the London Marathon but drew a field of 117 finishers, headed by the unattached Tom Robertson (35min35sec) from London.

Tim Forsyth (Ashford, 37.38) and Peter Hogben (Canterbury, 37.57) were well matched in the next two positions.

Local runners included Simon Parrin (Istead and Ifield, 38.44) in fourth place and M45 club mates Adrian Moody (40.52) and Bob Fursey (41.16) of Medway and Maidstone AC in the top 10.

Jacqueline King (Istead and Ifield, 47.07) won the women’s race from W45 masters Fidelma Atkinson (Canterbury, 48.31) and Lorna Pettifer (Pitsea, 49.27).
