Tonbridge Angels striker Frannie Collin.

Tonbridge closed to within four points of aBlue SquareBet South play-off place after a 1-0 win at home to Havant & Waterlooville on Tuesday night.

Angels, who are up to ninth after ending Havant's eight-match unbeaten run, took the points thanks to a Frannie Collin penalty on 23 minutes.

Left-back Nathan Green, making his debut after joining from Billericay, swung in a corner which was handled by Ed Harris.

Collin (pictured) stepped up and scored his first goal in 11 games.

Angels worked hard for the points but also had man-of-the-match goalkeeper Lee Worgan to thank for their victory.

His best work saw him produce an outstanding save to deny Chris Arthur during the first half.
