SUSPECT: Do you recognise this man?

A CCTV image has been released of a man British Transport Police want to speak to in connection with a serious assault in which a train ticket inspector was head-butted.

The victim was also pushed to the ground and hit by the male passenger following a dispute over a ticket.

The suspect boarded the train at Canterbury East station and the altercation happened while the train was stopped at Aylesham station.

Police say another passenger intervened to stop the assault and the attacker got off the train.
