Trio charged over family robbery

THREE young men have been charged with robbery after a gang attack on a family in their Kent home.

The robbery took place in Haksdown Road, Walmer, near Deal, in the early hours of Friday, June 29.

George D'Arcy, 23, of Maresfield Close, Dover, 20-year-old John Nolan of Finden Road, Kirby, Merseyside and Billy Harkins, 22, of Wellington Road, Bethnal Green, London, have all been charged with three counts of robbery.

All three men have been remended in custody and are due to appear before magistrates in Folkestone on Monday.

A 21-year-old woman from Dover was also arrested in connection with the robbery. She has been released on bail.
