POLICE are investigating after two men were found dead in a house in Chatham.

Officers entered the property in Maidstone Road after calls from concerned neighbours.

The bodies of the men, one in his 40s and the other in his 70s, were found at about 10.45pm on Tuesday.

A Medway police spokesman said: "We attended the address after concern was expressed for the wellbeing of the occupants who had not been seen for several days. We forced entry to the premises. The deaths are not being treated as suspicious at this time.

The men are still to be identified and a post mortem examination is due to be conducted next week.
