TWO men demanded that a shopkeeper hand over money from the till at a general store at Ramsgate but left after being refused.

The attempted robbery took place in Grange Road at about 7.45pm last night.

Two 19-year-old men, one from Margate and the other from Staffordshire, were later being questioned by police.
