Two taken to hospital after crash near Swanley Interchange of A20

Traffic is building up around the London-bound carriageway of the A20 near Swanley after a serious smash this morning.

Two men were taken to hospital in Sidcup with serious injuries following the accident at around 10.40am.

Two vehicles were involved, an HGV and a recovery truck.

Two men travelling in the recovery truck were taken by ambulance to Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, where they are being treated for their injuries.

The carriageway is now closed while the Kent Police Serious Crash Investigation Unit investigates.

It's hoped the road will be re-opened later today.
