Two women have been cut free by firefighters after a crash near Ramsgate this afternoon.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, in Manston Road, just after 1pm.

The pair have been taken to hospital and the road was shut in both directions between Manston airport and Birchington.

Kent Police officers were also at the scene.
