VAT increase on hold by Hyundai

Hyundai has decided to kick start 2011 with a number of offers to beat the VAT increase.

Not only are they freezing the VAT like some other retailers, but they are also paying the new 20 per cent VAT rate on selected i10, i20 and i30 Comfort models.
The firm’s promotion will run until the end of March.
With this promotion, the i10 city car is £7,109 for the Comfort 1.2 5dr model. This is a saving of £1,410.

The i20 supermini is £8,809 for the Comfort 1.2 3dr model. This is a saving of £1,750. Finally the i30 mid-sized family hatchback is £11,605 for the Comfort 1.4 5dr model. This is a saving of £2,285.

Separate to the no VAT deal, Hyundai is also offering a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) plan. A typical three year plan has an APR of 7.9 per cent and monthly rates are based on 10,000 miles per annum.
