Giving Westfield at Stratford a miss, international superstar Victoria Beckham came to Bluewater to enjoy a spot of roller-skating.

The former Spice Girl, who reformed with the group for the Olympic closing ceremony, was spotted at the shopping centre taking part in the recently-launched RollerFest.

Bluewater confirmed she had visited and enjoyed the day with her family.

Twitter went into meltdown when several shoppers spotted her and her children, including one surprised Tweeter who saw her looking at shoes in Zara.

She was also spotted by a friend of Sittingbourne reporter Hayley Robinson, who said: “My friend bumped into her and knocked her bag over.

“She apologised, then looked up and saw it was her, leaving her dumbstruck.”
