A Kent expat is facing years in jail or even a death sentence for allegedly inciting a riot in Thailand.

Jeff Savage, who moved from Tonbridge to Thailand nine years ago, is alleged to have been part of the Red Shirt protests that rocked the capital Bangkok last week.

It is claimed he was captured on video last week encouraging protesters to set fire to Bangkok's Central World centre - just days before it was torched and destroyed.
