A blanket weather warning for fog is in place across the entirety of Kent this morning.

Motorists are being warned of difficult driving conditions and there is potential for delays on public transport as a result.

The yellow weather warning covers the entire county

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for all corners of the county - and most other areas of England.

It is set to be in place until 11am when conditions will be fully clear.

Delays to buses and trains are possible, and flight and ferry timetables are also at risk of being impacted due to the fog.

As a result, motorists are urged to take caution on the county's roads.

The Met Office warns that fog is often localised and can change quickly, meaning it is tricky to plan journeys around it.

Patches of fog across Kent are likely

According to the Highway Code, headlights should be used when visibility is below 100 metres.
