Welling manager Jamie Day has agreed terms with three more players from last season's squad.

Keeper John Whitehouse, pictured, and midfielders Joe Healy and Jordan Johnson have all agreed deals for the coming campaign.

Day said: "We've kept the bulk of the squad together and while I'd have like to keep everyone together, the budget didn't stretch that far."

Reflecting on the departures of Jamie Coyle to Sittingbourne and Graeme Andrews to Maidstone, Day added: "I'd like to have kept Jamie Coyle.

"I offered him less money than he was on last year and I think the pull of being an assistant manager probably made his mind up.

"As with Jamie, we offered Graeme reduced terms. He didn't play every game toward the end of last season and maybe he thought he had dropped behind Anthony Achempong and Ben Martin in the pecking order."
