Detectives are scouring CCTV footage for clues and appealing for witnesses to come forward.

DI Ann Lisseman, of Medway Police, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen two men acting suspiciously.

"We believe that they were both white men, who had their faces covered.

"Fortunately no-one was hurt in the incident, but the two women were obviously shaken by what has happened.

"I would urge anyone with information about this robbery to contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to phone 01634 792 474 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
