Witness appeal in knife robbery

A GARAGE forecourt staff member was threatened with a knife as a man took money from the till.

Two men went into the forecourt shop at a garage in Hale Street, East Peckham, at 8.20pm on Tuesday.

As the staff member opened the till as one of the men paid for a drink, the other man produced a knife and demanded money.

The man took cash from the till and, with his accomplice, drove off in a white M-reg saloon car, possibly a Ford Orion, towards Paddock Wood.

The first man is white, aged 31 to 33, 5ft 8in, wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. The second white, aged 35 to 39, 5ft 10in, wearing an orange T-shirt.

Nobody was hurt in the raid.
