Detectives investigating the serious stabbing of a 24-year-old man hope to trace a potential witness who has been spotted on CCTV.

The man was attacked at 2.25am on Thursday, July 31, in London Road, Dover, at the junction with Tower Hamlets Road.

He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital and needed extensive surgery. He is now recovering at home.

The possible witness was spotted by officers on a CCTV film arriving near the scene outside the Star Taxi office and crossing London Road, near a stationery silver Skoda taxi, just minutes before the attack.
