A COUPLE seen walking their dogs last weekend may hold vital clues to a motorcycle crash in which a 17-year old youth died.

Police are trying to piece together what happened to the teenager, who crashed while riding his bike in Oaken Wood, off Hermitage Lane, Barming, near Maidstone.

The incident happened at around 2.20pm on Saturday. The young man, who has yet to be named officially, died shorly after he arrived at Maidstone Hospital.

Police are appealing for information from anyone in the wood or nearby areas on the afternoon of the accident. They specifically want to hear from a man and woman, aged around 60, seen walking their their dogs along the road between the water tower and Kiln Park Road.
