A woman has been charged with criminal damage after several cars were scratched.

Hazel Maureen O’Connor, 67, of Abingdon Road, Barming, has been charged with nine counts of criminal damage and also assaulting a police officer.

She has been bailed to appear at Maidstone magistrates on Tuesday, December 16 for a remand hearing.

Police were called to Barming on May 31 this year after 11 cars were found scratched by a sharp implement.
