A woman had to be cut out of her car after it crashed in Sevenoaks.

The 49-year-old was trapped in the one-car crash, which happened in Ide Hill just after 7am this morning.

Firefighters from Sevenoaks and Dartford worked with paramedics and cut the roof off the car using hydraulic rescue equipment.

The female was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with minor injuries.

It is not thought there were any other vehicles involved.
