Woman in fatal collision is named

A WOMAN pedestrian who died in hospital after being struck by a lorry in Sutton Road, Langley, near Maidstone, last month has been identified.

She was 42-year-old Alison Mary Allen, who came from Fontwell Close in Maidstone.

She was taken initially to Maidstone Hospital and then transferred to King's College Hospital in London where she died on Tuesday, April 24.

Members of Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are still appealing for information about the tragedy.

Anyone who saw the collision is asked to contact police on 01622 798538.
