A WOMAN has died after a car crash on the A259 at Dymchurch.

A Peugeot 306 and a Ford Maverick collided near the Martello Tower on the approach to the Burmarsh junction at 12.35pm Saturday. Two people were taken to the William Harvey Hospital with whiplash and one

middle-aged woman died of her injuries.

Fire fighters from New Romney, Dymchurch and Folkestone attended.

The road was blocked all afternoon and was reopened at 5pm.
