A woman had to be freed from a car after smashing into a home in Herne Bay today.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in Grand Drive at 1.51pm.

The condition of the casualty is not known.

In a separate crash, a man was taken to hospital on Sunday with a broken hip after his bike was in an accident with a car.

Police are looking for witnesses to the incident, at 11.20am on City Way, Rochester.
