A woman's body has been found amongst some trees at a recreation ground on the Hoo Peninsula.

Police were called to the area off St Luke's Way in Allhallows at 9:44am after the discovery by a dog walker.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained while officers investigate.

It is not known at this stage who the woman is but it's believed she was in her late teens or early twenties.
