A 20-year-old man died when his motorcycle was in collision with a trailer being towed by a tractor.

Police are seeking witnesses to the tragedy involving a red Maxuum Case tractor. It happened at around 3.30pm on Monday at the junction of Potten Street and Court Road, Birchington.

The victim, from Birchington, was riding a blue Suzuki motorcycle and died at the scene from his injuries. He has not yet been named.

The 53-year-old tractor driver, also from Birchington, suffered shocked but was uninjured.
