A MAN in his 20s from Kent has been killed after plunging from cliffs in the Cornish seaside resort of Newquay.

Police officers and coastguards went to the scene following a call from a member of the public early on Sunday morning.

The man's body was discovered at the foot of the cliffs.

An investigation has been launched to discover how the tragedy happened but at this stage there are not thought to be any suspcious circomstances. The victim has not yet been named.
