A 22-year-old man has died in a tragic accident involving machinery on a farm in Kent.

Police officers were alerted and called to the farm at Biddenden, near Ashford, on Thursday afternoon. They discovered the man, who lived in the Biddenden area, dead at the scene.

He has not yet been named. Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious but they are not releasing further details at this stage.

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the circumstances. The coroner is being informed and an inquest will be held.
