Sam Long played for Gillingham reserves last week against Aldershot

Charlton right-back Sam Long has been selected for Gillingham reserves in their game against Lewes today at Priestfield.

The Bexley-born youngster is making his second outing for the Gills after appearing in last week’s Combination League fixture against Aldershot.

After catching the eye of manager Mark Stimson the 18-year-old has been given a second opportunity to show what he can do.

Also turning out for Gillingham is 19-year-old Hungarian keeper David Grof, who was recently released by SPL side Hibernian.
