CHARLTON kept their Premier League survival hopes alive with a stirring second half revival at bottom club Watford on Saturday.

Watford dominated the first half and with the Charlton defence in disarray took a 15th minute lead through Hameur Bouazza.

They increased the lead five minutes later when Damien Francis headed home following good work by Tommy Smith.

Luke Young sparked the revival when he pulled a goal back in the 66th after the outstanding Alex Song had split the home defence with a precision pass.

Ambrose earned the Addicks a point in the 88th minute when he headed home substitute Dennis Rommedahl'cross.

Charlton could have won the match in stoppage time but substitute Kevin Lisbie missed a sitter in the final minute.
