GILLINGHAM battled their way to a goalless draw at Sheffield United.

Solid defending and hard work meant Gills kept their third succesive clean sheet.

Sheffield United had several first half chances, with John Harley, Andy Liddell and Danny Cadamarteri all going close.

Gillingham's best chance came in the fourth minute when Mamady Sidibe's cross-shot evaded both the far post and the onrushing Darius Henderson.

The home team had two chances win the game in injury time but Chris Morgan volleyed over the bar and Leigh Bromby's header was saved by Jason Brown.
