KENT cricketing stars, past and present, will attend a gala luncheon to be held at Hollingbourne, near Maidstone, on Friday, January 21.

The event, at the Ramada Hotel and Resort, will launch Kent County Cricket Club’s Appeal 2005 to benefit the club’s youth trust and players’ benevolent fund. It will start at noon.

The lunch will include a speech by guest of honour and England selector Geoff Miller, as well as an auction of sporting memorabilia.
