CHARLTON continued their preparations for the new Premiership campaign with a 5-2 win at Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Addicks led 2-1 at half-time at Dean Court in the testimonial for Bournemouth's Neil Young.

Goals from new signing Darren Ambrose and Francis Jeffers came between James Hayter's penalty for the home side.

Steve Foley headed in another equaliser for the hosts in the second half, but Charlton then rattled in three more goals of their own.

Jeffers, his strike partner Darren Bent and skipper Matt Holland all found the net as the Addicks finally showed their Premiership class.
