INJURY_HIT Gillingham twice let the lead slip on Sunday at Crystal Palace but emerged clutching a hard-earned point.
Minus the services of a whole crop of established first teamers through injuries and suspensions, Gillingham stunned Palace by taking a 24th minute lead through David Perpetuini'second goal of the season.
Palace levelled through Danny Granville's 47th minute header.
Palace skipper Hayden Mullins put through his own goal to restore Gillingham's lead in the 66th minute.
Palace teenage sensation Wayne Routledge earned his side a share of the points with a crisp, low drive in the 70th minute after Gillingham had only half cleared Tommy Black's corner.
