DAISH: "It's a magnificent trophy which we would love to see it back in our boardroom"

HOLDERS Margate bid for their fourth consecutive appearance in the Kent Senior Cup final when they visit Gravesend & Northfleet in tonight's semi-final.

Chris Kinnear's side have won the last three finals after breaking the Fleet's stanglehold on the trophy which they won in season's 1999-2000, 2000-01and 2001-02.

Both clubs have a history of treating the competition with respect and Fleet manager Liam Daish has made no secret of his ambition to win silverware this season.

"It's a magnificent trophy which we would love to see back in our boardroom," he said.

The Fleet are set to name much the same squad that won for the first time in seven attempts with Saturday's 2-0 success against Tamworth.
