BEARSTED golfer Danni Masters, who turned professional at the Ladies English Open last weekend, has made another step on the way in her fledgling career.

Danni has successful got through the pre-qualifying round for the biggest British event, the Weetabix Women's British Open held at The Berkshire.

A two under par 70 left her in joint sixth place and comfortable progress through to final qualifying which will be at North Hants GC on Monday. She will be hoping to claim one of the 10 places on offer in the championships at Sunningdale from July 29 to August 1.
