Gillingham v Plymouth

GILLINGHAM have had mixed news on the injury front ahead of Saturday’s match against Plymouth at Priestfield.

Barry Ashby, who sustained a shoulder injury in a clash with Portsmouth striker Yakubu at the weekend, is a major doubt.

But his replacement Chris Hope suffered no reaction to an ankle injury and should be fit to start on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Jason Brown has resumed training having been out for 6 weeks with a hamstring problem and could be in contention for a place. Alan Pouton could also make the squad.
